After a two-year hiatus, "Westworld" returns with a new season on June 26 at 9 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the fourth season on HBO and the HBO Max streaming service.

Blending science fiction and western genres, the series takes place in the near future and focuses on an advanced theme park called "Westworld." Once in the park, guests interact with life-like robots, referred to as "hosts," allowing them to roleplay elaborate adventures. When the once obedient hosts become self aware, the meticulously designed park unravels into chaos.

Season four will explore more locations outside the park to examine the show's world at large. Stars Evan Rachel Wood, Aaron Paul, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris, and Tessa Thompson all return for the latest batch of episodes. They're joined by several new additions to the cast, including Ariana DeBose, Aurora Perrineau, and Daniel Wu.

The first three season of "Westworld" are "Certified Fresh" on review-aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, but critics noted a dip in quality in the third season. Early reviews for season four are mixed with a "71% Fresh" rating as of writing.

In order to watch new episodes of "Westworld," you'll need access to the HBO cable channel or HBO Max streaming service. The fourth season premieres on June 26 at 9 p.m. ET.

The ad-supported HBO Max plan costs at $10 a month, or $100 for a full year. An ad-free plan is $15 a month, or $150 per year. The ad-free plan also gives you 4K streaming support for select titles, and the ability to download content for offline playback.

You can stream the HBO Max app on a variety of devices including Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, most smart TVs, Apple TV and Roku devices, PS5, and Xbox consoles. A full list of compatible devices can be found at the bottom of the HBO Max website.

New episodes of "Westworld" will air on HBO and HBO Max at 9 p.m. ET every Sunday from June 26 to August 14.

Season four of "Westworld" features eight episodes. Season three also included eight episodes, while seasons one and two both featured 10 episodes each.

HBO has not confirmed whether "Westworld" will return for a fifth season, but it remains a possibility.
