At its new starting price, it is even easier to recommend the OnePlus 10 Pro to anyone looking to purchase an Android flagship smartphone.
OnePlus has announced a price cut for the OnePlus 10 Pro that should entice buyers looking to pick up a new smartphone. Some manufacturers are known to announce reductions in the price of their smartphones months after they were launched. For some, this price slash may be temporary while others make it permanent, especially when a new model has just been announced.
The OnePlus 10 Pro was first unveiled in January 2022 in China before making its way to other regions in March. The phone is OnePlus' answer to the Galaxy S22 series, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, and a handful of other Android flagships. When the OnePlus 10 Pro was unveiled, it cost $899 at launch.

OnePlus has announced a permanent price cut that brings the starting price down to $799 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The price cut also extends to the 12GB RAM version which launched in the US in June 2022. While that version sold for $969 at launch with a free pair of OnePlus Buds Pro, it can now be bought for $869. However, there are no free earbuds at the new price. In Canada, the base model now starts at CA$1029, down from its launch price of CA$1149, and goes up to CA$1129 for the 12GB RAM variant. The OnePlus 10 Pro is available in Emerald Forest or Volcanic Black.
Those with a OnePlus device can pick up the OnePlus 10 Pro for an even lower price. All they have to do is join the OnePlus Red Cable Club. They can do this by downloading the OnePlus Store app and linking their device with their OnePlus account. Once completed, they get RedCoins, discounts, and coupons that can be used towards purchases on the app or on the website. OnePlus says buyers can get $50 off the price of the OnePlus 10 Pro this way.
