Apple announced the much-awaited new AirPods Pro 2 at the Apple September Event on September 7, 2022. The new AirPods Pro 2 will hit the market three years after its predecessor. Amongst the other notable features, the all-new AirPods Pro 2 claims a new H2 chip, customised spatial audio, twice as good ANC, touch controls, more excellent battery life, enhanced audio quality, and an even better fit. You can now swipe up or down to change the volume on the AirPods Pro with a new touch control sensor on the stem.

The significant changes are the H2 chip’s inclusion, the customised spatial audio capability, and noise cancellation advancements. Apple claims that the new H2 chip makes it possible to use the new function for adjustable clarity, which mutes loud environmental sounds for more comfortable listening. It is an analytical audio automated system that reduces noise by twice as much as the original AirPods Pro. Using the TrueDepth camera on your iPhone, you can take a photo of your ears to generate a profile for customised spatial audio.
The Apple earphone case now has a little speaker. This serves two primary functions: to play a location sound for Find My (assisted by compatibility with the AirTag’s Precision Finding capability owing to a new U1 chip) and to audibly signal when the battery is low or charging has begun. In the latter case, it aids the LED indicator’s visual function.
The price of the AirPods Pro 2 is Rs.26,900, almost the same as the AirPods Pro. You can Pre-order your pair of newly launched earphones from September 9 to receive them by September 23. There are no colour variants and will continue in white colour only.
