Swedish speaker specialist Audio Pro shows off its big ambitions with the launch of its largest product yet. The new A48 is the brand’s biggest pair of stereo speakers yet and will appeal to anyone who wants an all-purpose pair of hi-fi speakers without the clutter of a traditional separates audio system.
The new A48 are stunning-looking pari fo speakers and available in Black or White finishes.
Combining AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, the A48 speakers are designed as an alternative to a traditional TV soundbar and have been developed to make TV audio sources sound compelling. As well as support for wireless streaming over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the A48 speakers also have inputs for HDMI ARC, RCA Phono and TOSLink Optical. That about covers everything you could want.
The A48 can be used as part of an integrated home entertainment system and can even connect directly to a TV with quick and easy volume control using a TV remote. The A48’s built-in amplification provides 130W per channel to the midrange driver and 30W per tweeter. The midrange woofers are 5.25-inch in diameter, while the tweeters measure 2-inches.
Like all the latest speakers from Audio Pro, the A48 offer multiroom audio via AirPlay 2, Google Cast or Audio Pro’s app. They also support direct streaming via Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect. The speakers can be part of a whole-home audio system with music being played via multiple speakers all around the home. The A48 speakers use advanced DSP (digital signal processing) technology to create maximum impact.

Because the Audio Pro A48 are a large pair of floorstanding speakers, they project a powerful sound with a deep bass down to an impressive 30Hz. For those who want to go deeper, there’s an RCA output for attaching a powered subwoofer.
The A48’s sound has been optimized for watching TV and streaming music. Each speaker is housed in a wooden cabinet and is finished in soft Satin White or Black with customizable fabric speaker grilles to conceal the drivers. Like all the Audio Pro family, the A48 speakers exude chic and minimalist Scandi design.
