The new Ai81 powered floorstanding speakers from Fluance bring high-performance audio at home.

Fluance is a brand I usually associate with turntables, but the company also makes home audio gear. The latest product off the Fluance drawing board is the new Ai81 powered floorstanding speakers, which Fluance claims can produce “exhilarating, room-filling stereo sound for music, movies, and gaming.”

Unlike regular loudspeakers, powered models include an amplifier and just need to be connected with a source such as a TV, gaming console or any other audio source that lets you enjoy sound and music. The Ai81 can even receive music that’s streamed wirelessly using Bluetooth. And with the feature of a subwoofer output, you can add even more bass.

Powered by an integrated 150W amplifier, these active floorstanding speakers deliver an impressive bass and enough volume to fill a large room with powerful sound. And thanks to dual 6.5-inch woven glass-fiber drivers designed to deliver an accurate midrange with robust acoustic playback and low-frequency performance. In addition, high-performance tweeters focus the stereo soundstage while providing a wide off-axis dispersion.

These floorstanding loudspeakers have an advanced passive crossover and an enhanced DSP to produce a balanced frequency response that accurately reproduces sound. The built-in amplifier is tuned to match the drivers, crossovers and cabinet, ensuring alignment of the signal path.
